Based in Paris, I work at the boundary between photography and abstract painting. Many of my images are born from long exposures and intentional camera movement (ICM); a technique that dissolves reality to retain only the essential: shape, light, emotion.
What interests me is taking photography out of its documentary constraints. An image can capture a precise moment while simultaneously saying something universal about our condition.
The ICM technique suppresses detail, freeing the image from its immediate context and giving it a broader, more timeless dimension. The transparent silhouette of a child can recall moments with our own children, while illustrating a universal truth every parent knows: childhood is far too fleeting.
Self-taught, it is precisely this freedom from academic codes that defines my vision. I do not seek to document but to translate. What I seek in every image is that moment when reality gives way to something both more intimate and more universal. A silhouette can be anyone. A colour of light can become anyone's memory.
My work revolves around two series: Rêverie, which explores the tension between visual clarity and emotional truth, and Lignes de Vie, which questions the limits of perception through photography reduced to its bare outlines.
